Friendship Tours was founded in 1980 in Charleston, South Carolina. The founder of the company started driving school buses in South Carolina when he was a teenager. He had a vision to take the bus company, started by his father with a school bus, to the next level. The company started with one motor coach (a 1956 scenic cruiser double-decker) and with the help of the almighty God and his family, has grown to a fleet of modern deluxe motor coaches today.

Friendship Tours has a team of competent, reliable, professional and courteous drivers that collectively have over 100 years of driving experience. The owner of the company started driving school buses in high school and the experience of the other drivers range from a minimum of five years to over 30 years.
